Children on a Bell young learner programme ‘learn by doing’. In addition to spending time developing English language skills in the classroom – working with their teacher, in pairs and small groups – students also develop their communication skills through a range of activities, study tours and events.

Through project and class-based activities, students:

  • Develop their grammar and pronunciation skills and increase their vocabulary
  • Practise their speaking, listening, reading and writing skills.

Students develop their English language and communication skills by exploring at least five different sports or creative crafts each week. Students can choose from:

  • Football
  • Tennis
  • Swimming
  • Arts and crafts
  • Performing arts
  • Basketball
  • Art and crafts
  • Badminton
  • Hockey
  • Volleyball
  • Archery

Each week, students go on 1 full day and 1 half day study tour to UK destinations such as London, Cambridge, Oxford and Brighton.

Our programme of supervised events gives students the opportunity to relax, have fun and make friends with other young learners – all in English. Events include:

  • Sports – from football and basketball to tennis and cricket
  • Creative arts – from t-shirt painting to photography
  • Evening activities – such as discos, fashion shows and quiz nights

They will receive:

  •  At least 21 hours of tuition per week of lessons / programmed activities
  • Comprehensive supervision by qualified and experienced staff
  • Residential accommodation and all meals
  • Use of sport facilities
  • Study tours and a full programme of social events
  • Learning materials, course portfolio and end of course certificate
  • Return transfers on scheduled arrival and departure days from and to designated airports
  • Free laundry service
