ISSOS Cambridge
The University of Cambridge, founded in 1284 is one of the most famous and highly regarded universities in the world. Cambridge alumni include some of the worlds most notable scholars including, Sir Isaac Newton, Charles Darwin, A A. Milne and fifteen British Prime Ministers.
This unique location provides the ideal environment for ISSOS, giving summer students the chance to experience one of the world’s most visited cities and to discover the stunning architecture and countryside that lie beyond.
Cambridge’s attractions are many and varied with, the Imperial War Museum, punting on the River Cam, 32 university colleges and the market square amongst others, enthralling visitors from far and wide.
Although Cambridge is considered a city it has the atmosphere of a small university town, with glorious architecture at every corner, cafes, museums and theatres dominating this small, picturesque and above all safe city.
ISSOS, Cambridge is set in the safe, self-contained campus of Queens’ College. Founded in 1448, Queens’ College is one of Cambridge’s oldest and most beautiful University colleges. Spanning the river Cam, Queens’ combines ancient and modern seamlessly to provide students with state-of-the-art facilities steeped in academic history. This stunning location, combined with the proximity to the historic and cultural City of Cambridge, offers a wealth of attractions and experiences for our summer students.
