Epsom College is a co-educational Public School for pupils aged 13 to 18.

Founded in 1855, Epsom College is situated in 84 acres of parkland estate close to Epsom Downs and 15 miles from central London.

Epsom is one of the most successful co-educational boarding and day schools in the world for talented all-round boys and girls aged 13–18.

The facilities are first-class; more than 50 well-equipped classrooms are grouped by department, each with its own specialist resource base and dedicated information technology. A striking modern library with over 25,000 books, newspapers and periodicals encourages both traditional and modern approaches to study and information retrieval. Recent additions to the range of resources include a fully equipped fitness suite, a second drama studio and a new dance studio.

INTERNATIONAL APPLICANTS

Entrance Assessments for Entry to Years 9, 10 and 12

Along with many other top independent schools in the UK, Epsom College is participating in a new entrance test called UKiset – the UK Independent Schools’ Entry Test.

UKiset is an adaptive online test taken in English, which has been designed to support admission into the UK independent education system. UKiset tests a child’s underlying academic abilities through four principal reasoning areas – Non Verbal Reasoning, Spatial Ability, Verbal Reasoning, and Quantitative Ability – together with a creative writing piece. There is an additional English Placement Test for candidates whose first language is not English. In total, the test takes approximately two and a half hours.

If you wish your child to be considered for a place at Epsom College, please go to the UKiset website to register your child by completing the Student Profile Form. Please list Epsom College on the form and provide as much information as possible, because this will be sent to us as part of your child’s UKiset Profile Package and used in conjunction with their UKiset results to assess their application to Epsom College.

Once you have completed the form the UKiset Team will then contact you with details of your closest test centre and the next available test date (UKiset can be taken at approved test centres in over 130 countries worldwide). After your child has taken the test and we have received their UKiset Profile Package we will make a decision as to whether or not we wish to take their application further. If we are happy to pursue the application we will at that point require our registration fee to be paid and seek the relevant school references, reports and any additional information relevant to your child’s application.
