Clifton College – an independent boarding and day school for girls and boys

Clifton College is a co-educational independent school in the suburb of Clifton in the port city of Bristol in South WestEngland, founded in 1862.

The school takes boys and girls aged between 13 and 18. It has a nearby preparatory school.There are around 720 children in the Upper School of which about a third are girls. At the start of the 2004 – 2005 school year, a new boarding/day house for girls was opened.

There are 11 houses currently in the upper school of Clifton College in a mixture of day or boarding and girls or boys. There are also houses in the Preparatory School that are not listed below.
