This course is fundamental if you want to progress to university to study Art & Design at degree level. It will give you the opportunity to study a wide range of art and design disciplines before you decide on the area you wish to specialise.
The first week will be spent sampling all optional subjects; you will then pick three of these subjects to study over a four-week rotational period, on top of four compulsory subjects, including English Language if required. After which you will pick one of your optional subjects to specialise in for the rest of the year.
The third term is all about your final major project. At the end of this term, we will celebrate your achievements by holding an arts exhibition, publishing a graphics magazine or staging a fashion show.
