A-Levels Cardiff Sixth Form College

Students will receive between 24 and 30 hours a week of scheduled class time, plus tutorials and study sessions. Students benefit from weekly tests, frequent homework assignments and regular revision classes during the school holiday and weekends, if required.

Students are able to benefit from expert and experienced teachers (many of whom have Examining/Chief Examining experience), plus with an excellent staff:pupil ratio of 1:6. Our aim is for each student to reach their full potential in a supportive environment. We also offer a range of additional, complimentary courses, which enhance the students’ learning and help them make a competitive entry to university. These courses include Cambridge Pre-U, Healthcare Diploma, Revision Classes and Interview Workshops.

Cardiff Sixth Form College is proud to be placed at the top of the league table once again in the first position.  The college’s Executive Director Yasmin Sarwar said:

In a year of national uncertainty regarding A level results we were absolutely delighted to find that we have exceeded last year’s first class results, by a small margin from 94% A*-A grades to 95% A*-A grades with 43 students obtaining 3A*s grades or better. In this category boys at our college have outperformed the girls by a minimal margin. 100 students out of a cohort of 112 students have achieved 3A grades or better.
